River Garden Blue™ is a beautiful evergreen agapanthus. It was initially nicknamed River Garden Blue because it first flowered in the river garden above the Brisbane River. At that time, this garden like many others, was used to grow out seedlings from our agapanthus programs. It has a commanding presence when in flower with massive heads of full blue flowers. This variety grows quite large and is better suited to mass planting or as specimen plants in large planter boxes but spectacular if planted in a larger scale border.
